Kyle Xu

Kyle Xu’s practice is focused on representing clients in matters involving patent, copyright, and trade secret misappropriation claims concerning a broad range of industries and technologies including semiconductors, mobile electronics, software, data mining and management, electronic design automation (EDA), and automotive processors.

Kyle brings experience representing clients across all stages of complex litigation, from pre-litigation consulting and initial pleadings through trial.  Kyle’s practice includes representing clients in U.S. district courts including the Northern District of California, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, Eastern District of Virginia, District of Delaware, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  Kyle also has experience advising clients in technical transactions and IP strategy as well as portfolio management, including clients in the fintech and medical device space.

During law school, Kyle served as an Article Editor for both the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and the Harvard Business Law Review, and as a Board Member of HLS Lambda.

Outside of work, Kyle enjoys following NHL games, seeing musicals and practicing singing, and skiing both domestically and abroad.
